This image was created with the Collodium Wetplate technique. Chemicals are applied to a glasplate and the photo was shot with a traditional analag camera - with this technique the I. Age is entirely made out of silver. Breathtaking details are possible! In a "normal" Print of a photograph 300 pixels per square-inch is considered sharp - with the wetplate technique it's not pixels that define the sharpness and details - it's silver molecules per square-inch...
